More than a restaurant and bar, The Veranda is the crossroads of Jumby Bay Island.
Everything passes through The Veranda, where exciting enhancements - a new bar, expanded boutique, concierge area, enhanced dining and lounge areas, and a residential-style kitchen with a unique wood-burning oven - create welcoming culinary experiences. Set next to the sparkling sea, the open-air restaurant welcomes diners amid cool sea breezes.
Spirit of Jumby Bay
In an effort to preserve and showcase its natural beauty, Jumby Bay remains staunchly devoted to its sustainability program, carrying out several initiatives that preserve its environment and indigenous species – the endangered Hawksbill Turtle, the White Egret and the Persian Black-Headed Sheep.
Among these initiatives is a recycling program that has made Jumby Bay Island the largest recycler of bottles, cans and golf cart batteries on Antigua. Supplemental efforts are made to reuse all bi-products of island life. Sewage water is purified and stored in a central tank for plant irrigation, while all yard cuttings, including grass, leaves, branches and general foliage are chipped and turned into mulch and compost for landscaping on the island.
Thanks to numerous conservation projects – the Hawksbill Turtle Program, the island’s native plant nursery, rainwater collection and irrigation, sun-powered water heating and protected coral reefs – Jumby Bay Island is being preserved for future islanders.

Programs may include Yoga, Pilates, Beach Boot camp, Weight Training, Aqua Fitness and Swimming.
Tennis
The Jumby Bay Tennis Club is comprised of three courts, two of which can be lit for evening play. Courtside amenities include complimentary iced water, sports beverages and towels. Director of Tennis and resident pro, Jerry Williams, is a Davis Cup veteran, and has played with the world's top-ranked players, including Steffi Graf, Chanda Rubin and Mary Pierce, all of whom have been guests at Jumby Bay.
